Marla Gwendolyn Fischinger
Marla Gwendolyn Fischinger studied Fine Arts at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. She is a visual artist with a text-based, multimedia approach. The human psyche, psychological processes and their accompanying physical responses, as well as their effects on interpersonal relationships and society, are central themes in her work and deal as a starting point for artistic research and examinations.
She works autobiographically by reflecting and documenting her own experiences and memories throughout creative processes. In her practice she uses a range of media such as video, photography and drawing and combines these with text. The lyrical and prose texts emerge alongside visual processes or become an integral part of her installations
