Raphael Röleke-Aletsee
Raphael Röleke-Aletsee (Neukamp) has been dedicated to the design of experimental sound generation since childhood—a field he has explored intensively and expanded upon over many years. In the beginning, he worked with an old microphone and a recording program that only permitted sound-on-sound recordings. This constraint forced him to rely on creative, unconventional approaches to shape his soundscapes. Over time, he integrated a wide variety of acoustic, analog, and digital sound sources, continuously refining his methods while maintaining his signature joy of experimentation. For over 21 years, sound and acoustics have been vital components of Raphael’s life and artistic practice. His extraordinary and diverse collection of musical works documents the artist’s evolution over a significant period. This extensive catalog functions much like an auditory diary, clearly reflecting the goals, values, and themes that Raphael explores in his pieces. His work has already been showcased in several exhibitions.
